The Importance of Being a Good Neighbor
It doesn’t take much to reach-out to a neighbor that may be in need of assistance, during a pandemic or otherwise. Strong community is built on conversation and effort to make sure each of us stays in the loop and in possession of things we need, like food and medicine. If you have neighbors that are senior citizens, living alone, or looking like they could use a helping hand, it wouldn’t hurt to reach-out and form a network with those in your area to keep communication strong. A little effort goes a long way, and some people are literally not capable of asking for help or leaving their home to ask for assistance. The State of CA created a simple site to bring attention to this very topic, and we wanted to share this post to help spread the word!
